PLACE

Please remember to bring a bagged lunch to school on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY for PLACE!!

Please invite your families to our PLACE kick off on Wednesday, Oct 20.  At 9:15 in the gym at Davison, we have a Story Teller of First Nations ancestry who will entertain and educate us through storytelling!  This event will be about 1 hour long.


Our PLACE finale will take place on Friday at 1:00pm in the gym at Davision.  Students will present their art that they create on Wednesday and Thursday. 


Both of these events will be wonderful celebrations of art!  I hope many of you will be able to attend.

Get Arts Smart!

Mrs. Kitch, Davison's Arts Educator, is going to be running Parent/ Student Workshops for students and their parents/ adult family members at Davison!  These nights are designed for students to use the skills they learn in art class to create a piece of art with their family members.  Art Smart Nights will be held at 7pm in the Art Room at Davison on the third Tuesday of every month.

The first Workshop will be Tuesday, Oct 19 at 7pm.  It will be approximately 1 hour long.

I hope many of you will be able to attend.  These nights are free of charge and will be a great way to spend quality time with your child.

September Awards

Congratulations to Maverick Hahn for being the September recipiant of the In-Motion Award for our class.  He is always giving 110% in Cross Country and in Phys. Ed.  He also is a role model in Phys. Ed class for his excellent sportsmanship.  Way to go Mav!

Congratulations to Katelyn Koval for being the September recipiant of the Personal Achievement Award for our class.  Katelyn is a great role model in class by showing patience and respect when helping other students in math class.  Way to go Katelyn!
